introduction This site contains information about the online portion of the study abroad program. Use the links on the left to navigate your way through readings, assignments, and other resources. Although we'll be discussing these issues during our time in Europe, this 4-day online program will help give us a jump start on the discussions. During these four days, you'll also have the opportunity to meet, talk, and work with people you may not have met yet--but soon will. Welcome to the Study Abroad Program! In order to complete assignments for class on June 1, you will need to access the assignments page at least two days prior to class--you're required to do readings and complete a brief writing assignment BEFORE class begins on June 1, 2000. "globalization, communication, and technology". ....is the topic of the online course. Obviously, we'll be covering a lot of ground. The key to your success is to be focused and think at multiple levels. Shortly, we will provide an overview on the topic that will help ground your reading and prepare you for class discussion.
