For each presentation, students must submit a full-sentence outline of their argumentative case. Details for this requirement are discussed below:
Full sentence outlines detail the arguments and evidence to be presented and arrange these arguments in the general order of presentation.
If you are the first speaker, your speech will be more specifically ordered than the second speaker's.
Second speaker's outline (and presentation) should incorporate a more flexible form, to accommodate interaction and responsiveness to the situation.

Thesis of your presentation
Introduction:
Attention getter may be written out, as this is typically a well-planned, almost memorized part of the speech.Overview of the issue, including definitions, parameters of the argument, criteria for decision making, and background information.
Thesis (may choose not to state entire thesis, particularly with an unwilling audience).
Preview of your major arguments (again, may want to provide a general preview, without laying all your cards on the table immediately. However, you MUST provide a path for us to follow, so preview info must be specific enough for audience to follow presentation.)
Body:
Main claims, sub claims, transitions, and all evidence are detailed in the outline.Establish that a problem or a need exists that is significant and relevant to this audience.
Establish that there is a need for change. In other words, that the problem or need is inherent, or cannot be solved or met by the status quo.
Offer your solution to the problem or alternative to the status quo.
Specify how the solution will work, using specific evidence or reasoning to support your claims.
Demonstrate that your solution is the best solution to the status quo (meet the stock issues of solvency, feasibility, desirability, etc.)
Refute arguments in opposition to your argument, using specific explanations of the opposition, presenting counter arguments, and supplying specific evidence to support your claims.
